Jesus is Not Hiding

Merry Christmas. Unfortunately to some it may not be. Maybe you've lost a loved one recently or during a past Christmas, had a bad breakup, or an illness. Maybe something is doing it’s best to steal your joy during this time of year. Some may not be able to empathize with those feeling this way, but we can certainly sympathize. I don’t want to discount anyone’s pain. What I would like to do however, is point to someone who can help with that pain...the reason for the season. CHRISTmas.

I emphasize it that way on purpose because too many have forgotten that Christ is the reason for Christmas.

If you have strayed away from Jesus, never had a relationship with him, or you’re a life long Christ follower, you are still invited to seek him this season. Scripture says if we seek him we will find him. Jesus is not hiding from us. There is a song that says he is as close as the mention of his name. I offer you a challenge this season…mention his name. Mention it often, out loud and with the expectation of his. . . hello, I’ve been waiting for you.
